Yggdrasil Gaming, a leading provider of superior online gaming solutions for iGaming operators, has entered into an online casino agreement with Finnish national betting agency Veikkaus that will see it provide them with top-notch casino content and games.
Veikkaus own the largest online casino in Finland, attracting more than 700,000 players per week. The company is the only gambling operating agency in the state in both land-based and online games, having shown a turnover of €3.2 billion in 2017.
As one of the top ten companies in Finland, Veikkaus is owned entirely by the state. There are over 2 million registered customers in Veikkaus, equaling 45% of the total number of adults in Finland with the entire profit from the gambling monopoly being used for the benefit of Finns.
The agreement will also see Yggdrasil providing Veikkaus with a complete library of slot games that include Penguin City, Hanzo’s Dojo and Wolf Hunters, as well as classic titles like Jokerizer or Winter Berries, the Vikings trilogy and their in-game promotional tools, BOOST.
