BetMGM has teamed up with Fremantle to launch The Lion’s Share, a brand-new pricing game on the legendary TV show The Price Is Right. It’s the first fresh addition since 2021 and will debut on September 22 during the show’s 54th season. Contestants will have a shot at prizes worth up to $500,000.
How The Lion’s Share Works
Players will guess the prices of everyday items. Each correct guess earns them a ball, which goes into a wind tunnel chamber. Every ball can either unlock a prize — like cash, cars, or trips — or wipe out everything they’ve collected.
BetMGM’s Chief Revenue Officer Matt Prevost said the game blends the “legacy of an iconic gameshow with the excitement of the BetMGM brand.”
Online Version Coming in 2026
BetMGM isn’t stopping at the TV launch. An online casino version of The Lion’s Share is set for 2026, adding to its growing library of exclusive games.
Prevost called it a rare chance to deliver one of the biggest prizes in show history while keeping fans entertained both on-screen and online.
Fremantle on the Partnership
Suzanne Lopez, COO of Fremantle, said working with BetMGM is “the perfect collaboration,” bringing new energy to a format that fans already love.
BetMGM’s TV Game Show Push
This isn’t BetMGM’s first move into TV game show territory. Earlier this year, the company announced a wider partnership with Fremantle to create online casino games based on hit shows like Family Feud and The Price Is Right.
The group also has strong ties to Wheel of Fortune. MGM Resorts and Entain launched a dedicated Wheel of Fortune online casino app in Ontario and New Jersey, supported by promotions during the show itself.
Beyond game shows, BetMGM has been rolling out slots tied to famous franchises. These include The Wizard of Oz with Warner Bros. and, more recently, a Friends slot game created with London studio Atlantic Digital.
