Barcelona studio’s quirky slots get prime lobby placement as Interwetten boosts casino line-up in Germany, Greece, Spain, and Sweden.
Slots with style: what’s rolling out and where
Peter & Sons has struck a content deal with Interwetten that brings the studio’s offbeat slot titles to the operator’s players across four regulated markets: Germany, Greece, Spain, and Sweden. It’s a calculated move to keep casino offerings fresh in territories where player expectations are high and content fatigue is real.
The rollout includes a mix of well-known titles like Barbarossa, Xibalba, Wild 1, and Voodoo Hex, alongside newer entries such as Zombie Road, Bubblegum, and Robbo. The studio, known for its hand-drawn visuals and off-kilter characters, will get dedicated space in Interwetten’s casino lobby—players logging in can already spot a “New Provider Peter and Sons” banner highlighting several of the releases.
Why this deal matters for both sides
For Peter & Sons, the partnership gives it a larger stage in key European markets, expanding beyond its existing reach. Since launching in 2019, the studio has steadily carved out a spot through both direct deals and major aggregator platforms. Interwetten gives it something else: a foothold with a heritage operator that’s especially strong in Germany and southern Europe.
“Interwetten isn’t just another platform—they’ve been pioneering online betting since the ’90s,” said Peter & Sons Commercial Director Yann Bautista. “Their reputation and reach make them a perfect partner as we push further into regulated territories.”
From Interwetten’s angle, it’s a content refresh strategy aimed at standing out in crowded lobbies. “Peter & Sons doesn’t look like anyone else,” said Mario Bilic, Director of Products. “Their games have a unique style, and that fits perfectly with what we want to offer players—quality and originality.”
A wider push into regulated Europe
This deal isn’t happening in a vacuum. It’s part of Peter & Sons’ broader play to grow in Europe through operator tie-ups and targeted launches. In October, the studio’s content went live in Sweden with Svenska Spel and MomangCasino, including titles like Ghostfather Awakened and Epic Hellas. Before that, the studio moved into Denmark via Light & Wonder and has already launched content in the UK and Canada.
The real test: visibility and traction
For all the praise and potential, the success of this launch will likely come down to how Interwetten promotes the games—and how players respond. In mature, competitive markets, even great content can get lost without strong lobby placement and ongoing exposure.
So far, the signs are solid. But if Interwetten keeps the momentum going with featured promos and regular refreshes, this partnership could translate into serious gains for both parties—and more variety for slot fans across Europe.
