Sports betting and fantasy sports operator DraftKings has announced that it has opened three new sportsbooks in partnership with Wild Rose Casino & Resort across the state of Iowa.
The DraftKing powered sportsbooks feature at each of Wild Rose Casino & Resort’s locations in Emmetsburg, Jefferson and Clinton, offering wagers on a vast selection of sporting events.
The new sportsbooks enhance DraftKing’s existing array of retail locations in New Jersey, New York and Mississippi.
Each sportsbook features a huge video wall that displays games, a mix of smaller televisions, odds boards and a scrolling ticker with live score updates, stats and other player information. Customers are given the opportunity to place wagers at three ticket windows, including one at the cashier in each casino and six self-serving betting kiosks in each of the locations.
Tim Dent, Chief Compliance Officer at DraftKings, commented that football season is in full swing and it is the perfect time to bring their retail sports betting experience to Iowa.
